Under the supervision of the Rector Ven. Master. Ze Wu, the enrollment work for 2017 postgraduate program was held successfully on 12th June. There were 77 monks and nuns in total applied for the entrance examination held from 10th to 12th June. Among them, 68 monastics were qualified for the written examination. The 50 candidates who passed written examination attended interviews. Eventually, 45 monastics, including 11 monks and 34 nuns, were admitted for the program. This is the highest number of admitted students since BCM began the postgraduate program in 1999.  
    In order to ensure the success of entrance examination, the BCM leaders highly paid attention to the preparation of entrance examination including the planning of the examination papers, giving the test papers to the examiners, the arrangement of route for entering examination rooms for candidates, distributing papers to the candidates, sealing papers, scoring papers and prearrangement of interview for candidates.
    The written examination was held on 10th and 11th July under the supervision of the General Vice-Rector Ven. Jie Xiang, the Vice-Rector Ven. Fa Yuan, the Vice-Rector cum the Director of Office of Student Affairs Ven. Jing Xin and the Rector Assistant Ven. Hong Lai. After the written examination, the masters and professors of the BCM evaluated the papers under the guidance of related rules and regulations in an enclosing environment.  
    In the evening of 11th, Rector Master. Ze Wu held the meeting with the leaders of all offices and received the Director of Teaching Affairs Ven. Jing An's report about the written examination results. Then the Rector and leaders had discussion about the admission score of written examination, the arrangement of interview for the next day and the accommodation for candidates. At 19:50, the paper examination results and the name list for the interview were announced. In next day, the Rector Master. Ze Wu with the leaders of all offices, as well as other masters and professors, interviewed the candidates about their professional knowledge and comprehensive ability. 
    The General Vice-Rector Ven. Jie Xiang, the Vice-Rector Ven. Fa Yuan, the Vice-Rector cum the Director of Office of Student Affairs Ven. Jing Xin, the Rector Assistant Ven. Hong Lai, the Director of Office of General Affairs Ven. Jie Song, the Director of Office of Teaching Affairs Ven. Jing An and the Acting Director of International Division Ven. Zu Guang, as well as other masters and professors participated in the enrollment works.
BCM commenced its three-year postgraduate program from February 1999. The enrollment work of the program consist of written examination, papers’ evaluation, enrollment meeting, announcement for qualified candidates, and interview in sequence.
